Mission:
Welcome! Ephesians 4: 13 Forum’s mission is to provide a place where the Body of Christ can meet together in fellowship, unhindered by denominational boundaries. A place to study to enhance our relationship with Jesus and in doing so sharing our faith with others and making disciples as commanded in Matthew 28: 19.

Policy:
Ephesians 4: 13 Forum is for Bible study and civil discussions. We realize that there are many different views on many different subjects and discussion topics, which will lead to disagreements. However, keep it civil, and refrain from personal attacks. In addition, this board is not the outlet for a few, but a forum for all Christians to unite and share their views to fulfill our mission and most importantly, glorify God.

Please try to keep your posts concise, and try not to dominate the board with long posts or frequent posts that have the effect of blocking out views of other users.

This board is moderated and posts that deny the Deity of the Lord Christ Jesus, abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening or posted with intent of purposely provoking and pulling people into flaming discussion will be scrutinized and edited or deleted as determined necessary.
Also, posting of links to other web sites unless part of and relevant to an ongoing discussion are not permitted under any circumstance.  Posts promoting commercial interests will result in a permanant ban without further explanation and the offending post will be removed.
Please don't hesitate to contact the moderators with concerns and suggestions

The preferred Bible translation of the forum is The King James Version.

We consider the King James Version to be the most reliable English translation text of God's inspired word.

Other translations are welcome however we will not tolerate disputes based on translation text, therefore the King James Version has been chosen as the official version to be used in dispute resolution.

We recognize that the language of the KJV is somewhat archaic and difficult for many of us to understand and feel comfortable with. We are therefore happy to allow the use of more modern translations with the following conditions and restrictions.
  • Changing from one version to another in an attempt to communicate our thoughts and ideas is not in our opinion wise usage of God's word; it constitutes tailoring God's word to suit ourselves and as such is strongly discouraged, and will be subject to moderation.
  • When quoting Bible text or referring to Bible text, the particular translation or version used must be cited. This is the courteous and most helpful thing to do.
  • We encourage those replying to a topic to use the version used in the opening post, though this might not always be possible or expedient.
